Tongan language week

One the 6th of September we celebrated the Tongan culture at the somerville hall which use to be Tamaki intermediate. First we sang the New Zealand national anthem, Tongan national anthem, the prayer and finally Miss Kelly’s speech. When it was the Tongan groups turn we did a Tongan dance together with boys and girls. Our next dance was just boys only. Parents was coming up on stage dancing and singing. When we were doing our dance I felt really nervous. Later on it we did a ma’ulu’ulu together with the Kia Toa syndicate and I was also given $15 dollars from my mother and I was so happy. When the assembly finished we went back to school to the hall to eat Tongan food. I ate potato salad, corn beef, taro and sweet and sour. When I was eating I went down to sit with my friends on the stage.

Reading of Diary of a Minecraft Enderman

Hello guys today I will be telling you guys all about this book diary of a Minecraft. Diary of a Minecraft Enderman is a book for Enderman rules! This book was by Pixel kid and Zack zombie. Some people think that endermans likes to play basketball just because they are tall and have long arms but it's not true they don't. People don't know much about Endermans because there naturally the strong, silent type. some people thinks that Endermans are stealing I mean it is true that they are taking stuff home but that's only because it looks better at there house not yours. I like to read all about this book because it is very interesting to know the Enderman rules. One of  the Elliot the Enderman favourite games are teleport tag there are rules in teleport tag. Rules are when you play you need to spend seven minutes between teleport tagging the same player. I really like reading this book because it is really interesting.

	The dog plays. The black, white and brown little dog  is playing outside on green grass. The dog is playing with his red bouncy ball running around on the grass.
	The bird eats. There is a black and orange bird eating a long disgusting worm. He is eating the worm outside on the green grass.
	The fish swims. The fish is swimming in a glass fish bowl on a big brown log. The orange fish swims in a glass fish bowl on a big brown log.
	The hedgehog eats.  The hedgehog is sitting right next to the sliced watermelon.  Also the hedgehog is starring in front of the camera for a photo.  And it is also inside of a house on a table.

1.On Saturday afternoon I woke up late feeling hungry so I walked to the bakery and brought me a chicken kebab and  hot chips. As soon as I got my food, I went to the table to sit and eat there.

2.After I finished my food, I got up and head back home. Next I sat on the couch in the lounge at my house and watched YouTube until I was ready to take a shower. Later on I had dinner with my family then, I watched a movie later it was time to go to bed.

Technology Bridge challenge

                Technology Bridge challenge
On November the 13th we had a challenge who will make the strongest bridge the longest bridge or the  largest bridge. First we gathered our materials together. Me and my buddy Opeti was working in a team about how to make bridge.  

The materials that we used to make a bridge is is tape, paper and strings. How we made the bridge is we taped paper together then we tied a knot of string on the chair.

Next we went to test our bridge. We put all of the mini cars and the bridge was strong enough to hold it. Also I felt proud of me and Opeti. Next we put 2 rugby balls on the bridge and it survived.

The most original bridge was Fine, Christine and Lily's bridge and Lydia and Htoo Say Wah. Then we wrecked all of the bridges.  It was a really fun afternoon and I wish we get to do more challenges like that in the future.

Making a kite

    Making a kite

On the 7th of February it was a hot sunny day. Room 8 went down to room 6 and we learned how to make a kite.

We made a kite out of coloring paper, tape, squares  string and decoration paper my buddy was Opeti.

First folded our paper into a diamond next we cutted it out then we taped the squares on the the paper next we tape decoration paper and the very last part is you get a string tight a knot on the kite.

After we finish making our kites we cleaned up room 6.

Then we went outside to have some fun with our kites.  Opeti and I broke our kite cause we didn't really like it  . I felt enjoyable happy and it was so fun.

Last week we successfully made otai using twelve green apples, one half bag of cool ice, three boxes of anchor milk, brown sugar, a can of crushed of pineapple,one can of mango pulp.

First we grabbed a big container then we put ice inside the container then added the twelve green apples,one can of mango pulp,one can of crushed pineapple,and brown sugar.

Next the boys were peeling the green apples with a peeler then we put it into a black plastic bowl then we washed the the black plastic bowl.

Then mrs Tafea used   a small sharp knife to take out the apple core before Vaiola and Lily.

Finally we mixed the ingredients together with some brown sugar stirred well with a  big spoon.

It was exciting making otai because I never made otai with my class room 8 and we ate it with some sweet keke. It was delicious! I wanted to have more otai but have enough.
